About US Channels

US-Channels.com is the first "social network for business", and targets the global technology market.

It was designed as a "virtual trade mission" to promote trade into and out of the U.S. market, for key representative groups in global trade and their constituencies of technology vendors.

An innovative business model enables each group to represent their constituencies in a highly efficient and cost effective way.

The following representative groups are invited to join U.S. Channels to build strategic relationships and promote themselves and their stakeholders to the global market:

  • Local, State and Federal government groups in US, and their global affiliates
  • Economic development groups
  • Business and trade associations
  • Educational and research groups
  • Major technology vendors' business partner networks
  • Overseas government, business, trade, technology and educational groups
  • Technology vendors represented by any of these groups
  • Business users of technology, who are invited to promote their technology requirements to the global network.

The community is operated by Group Intelligence, a U.S.-based "web 2.0" firm that specializes in business collaboration for the technology market. Group Intelligence has been operating "eCommunities" since 2000 (see www.webSphere.org, www.mobility4SAP.com).

Technology is one of the main drivers of today's global economy. U.S. Channels is an innovative way for us to promote Westchester as an attractive place for investment and help our local technology firms make the connections they need to "go global".
